In preparing a presentation there are a number of things to consider.  The first and most important is the audience, the second is the material, and the third is your own mastery of language.  In my case I remain limited to the English language, and I am always amazed and in awe of my many friends and colleagues who speak multiple languages – as many as eleven in at least one case I can think of.

The study and development of Creative Problem Solving has been going on for more than 60 years, having its origins in the work of great creative thinking explorers like Alex Osborn, Sid Parnes and others involved with the Creative Education Foundation and Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI).

I recently reread Robert Epstein's article in Scientific American Mind magazine (Nov/Dec 2010) which explores what makes a good parent. Epstein conducted a scientific analysis that “ranks the 10 most effective child-rearing practices. Surprisingly some don't even involve the kids".
