The Institute for Learning Practitioners Australia put on a great Conference and Expo last Friday at the Gold Coast and I was honored to be asked to fill in for the opening Keynote on "Good Intentions are not Enough".

It was a fun fast and furious 90 minutes session and everyone wanted a copy of the different material used to help them with their training course and professional development.

The centre of the map is the cellular hub.

Stretch the mind over the branch towards the leaves.

The branch drips meaning towards the leaves.

How many leaves?

What are their names.

Where does that take you?

What is uncovered.

 

Thank you to the Buzan day in Brisbane!  My preferred learning style is pictures and now I have the courage to take mind maps to business meetings and use them.  So far it has unleashed a wild bevy of ideas!

Checkout Jack's great How to Swim Mind Map on all the things to consider when learning to swim. . While it doesn't quite follow all the rules of Mind Mapping (i.e. it has more than one word per line and the images are not connected to a branch), it is a fantastic first attempt at using iMindMap. A+ for effort
