How we started
Mindwerx International & Deliberate Creative Thinking
Mindwerx International is a pioneer in Deliberate Creative Thinking, following and widening the path created by great creativity explorers such as Edward de Bono, Tony Buzan, Alex Osborn, Sid Parnes, Ned Herrmann, Maxwell Maltz, Napoleon Hill, W Edwards Deming and others.
Mindwerx was conceived in 1998 to help individuals, teams and organisations find innovative solutions to the challenges of the 21st Century so they can achieve outstanding success.
We do this by providing education, training, and team facilitation services using Deliberate Creative Thinking tools and techniques.
Our goal was to build on the more than 15 combined years of experience we had leading organisations down the path of Continuous Improvement. We knew that the 'Quality' focus of many organisations was no longer enough, and to succeed, individuals, teams and organisation needed to embrace creativity.
Based on this belief and two years research and planning, Mindwerx International officially launched in 1999. Even as we started we collaborated with other people and organisations in Australia and overseas, and one of our earliest associations was with the fledgling de Bono Institute.
In 2001 we formally established the Buzan Centre: Australia/NZ, and proudly presents Tony Buzan's official programs throughout the world. Jennifer Goddard, our co-founder, is one of only a handful of Master Buzan Trainers in the world, and since 2001 the Buzan Centre Australia/NZ has licensed more than 150 Buzan Instructors in Australia and beyond.
In 2013 and beyond, Mindwerx and the Buzan Centre will continue to run programs and support people throughout Australia, South Africa, Asia and the United States.
