Jennifer is the Director, Buzan Centre: Australia/NZ and co-founder of Mindwerx International. An expert in the area of creativity and innovation, Jennifer works with a wide variety of organisations and schools in Australia, NZ, USA, Middle East, South Africa, UK, China and Asia.
Now a specialist in the area of creativity and innovation, Jennifer is a Master of Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Swinburne University’s AGSE.
Prior to forming her own consultancy in 1995, Jennifer held roles across the spectrum of the telecommunications industry. As a consultant/facilitator, she has a multi-disciplined approach encompassing Education and Training Development, Change Management, Marketing, Information and Communications Technology, Strategic Planning, Human Resources Planning, Recruitment and Finance.
In 2001 Jennifer spent five months in the UK and Europe as Transition Project Manager for a newly formed Billion Euro technology company, where she was responsible for kick starting the integration of 18 different countries.
An experienced trainer in a number of disciplines, she is a skilled educator/presenter that makes learning a pleasure for those who participate on her programs. Her success at completing a very broad range of assignments is an indication of her versatility and competence at meeting her personal mission - to Add Value to the people and companies she works with!
Jennifer has a personal passion for mental literacy, whole brain thinking, holanthropy (the study of interrelated functions of the brain and body), and multiple intelligences.
Jennifer trains and coaches Advanced Learning Techniques, including Speed Reading and Memory Development, and personally works with Tony Buzan around the world.
Jennifer was for many years a Guest Lecturer on the Creativity & Innovation module of Swinburne University’s AGSE Master of Entrepreneurship & Innovation and MBA programs.
Breadth and depth of understanding and empathy with clients are part of her core values and as such she is a Professional Member of National Speakers Association of Australia, an accredited trainer in de Bono's Lateral Thinking™ techniques and a qualified administrator of the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI)®..
Australia's Memory Maven
Interestingly, Jennifer is the convenor of the Australian and Thailand Memory Championships, is the Senior Arbiter at the World Memory Championships and was crowned “Memory Maven” by Australian Anthill Magazine.
Actively involved in the not-for-profit sector and community based programs, Jennifer is committed to the idea of putting back into the community, as evidenced by her eight year involvement first as Treasurer and then as Director of the Victorian Scout Heritage Centre and two years as Chairperson for the Leadership Development Special Interest Group at Australian Institute of Management.
Jennifer is an active member of Robina Rotary club and volunteers at Hav 'A' Feed that helps the homeless on the Gold Coast.
