"in my recent workshop one of my slides showing my bio in Version 4 in PowerPoint was too small in projection – is there an ideal font size you recommend for MindMaps in PowerPoint?  I see if you go back into a MindMap to increase font size it throws out the branches."

As a BLI you will not doubt do a lot of presentations and may love or hate powerpoint (which can be quite powerpointless)
